Trump Administration Lawyers Urge Court To Reinstate Travel Ban

A young Christian girl who was mutilated by Muslim radicals and deemed dead after spending six days in a coma was saved by Jesus and miraculously brought back to life

And two former secretaries of state, John Kerry and Madeleine Albright, have joined former top intelligence officials in saying that the Trump immigration order harms national security by both giving ISIS a new propaganda tool and discouraging Muslims in the us from reporting potential trouble they see to law enforcement.

The San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has scheduled a telephone hearing Tuesday afternoon with lawyers from the federal government and states suing Trump. Listen to the video above or visit the court's website to tune in. The plaintiffs in the case are the states of Washington and Minnesota, which first filed to block Trump's order last week.

Polster said Wednesday that "I've said many times that the Constitution never sleeps and our branch is on it".

He added that the "concern for terrorism from those connected to radical Islamic sects is hard to deny".

But Clifton also sharply questioned Washington Solicitor General Noah Purcell about the state's claim that the executive order amounts to a Muslim ban, considering only about 15 percent of the world's Muslim population lives in the seven countries mentioned in the order.

He said the states did not have to show every Muslim was harmed, only that the ban was motivated by religious discrimination.

"If these judges wanted to, in my opinion, help the court, in terms of respect for the court, they do what they should be doing", Trump said, coaxing judges to rule in his favor with a typically free-form remark to a gathering of police chiefs in Washington.

The federal court judge who blocked President Trump's temporary travel ban is the poster child for everything that's wrong with America's legal system.

Ireland Let Lead Slip As Laidlaw Kicks Scotland To Deserved Win
Only in 2006 against France have we gone into the second game with the momentum and feel-good factor of winning in round one. Vern Cotter ( Scotland): "It is an intense, brutal, feudal competition - and also one that's great to be involved in.

President Donald Trump has signed 22 executive actions since taking office, including eight executive orders, according to The American Presidency Project.

When the 9th Circuit asked Flentje what evidence the executive order had used to connect the seven countries affected by the order with terrorism in the United States, Flentje said the "proceedings have been moving very fast", without giving specific examples. In that case, Judge Nathaniel Gorton decided not to extend a temporary restraining order in MA until he can hear the full case.

When asked for examples of any real risk from terrorist activities, Flentje mentioned the Qaeda-linked al-Shabab group in Somalia. "It's really nice to know that there's a lot of people supporting us", Asali told Gov. Tom Wolf, who greeted the family at a relative's house in Allentown.

It was a lively but technical hearing on an issue that has gripped much of the country's attention - and that of foreign allies and Middle East nations - for the past week.

Trump's order a caused confusion for many foreigners trying to reach the United States, prompted nationwide airport protests and led to multiple court challenges.

Several states insist that it is unconstitutional.

The panel said it will make its ruling "as soon as possible" on the federal government's request to throw out or at least scale back the temporary restraining order issued last Friday in Seattle.

"But they want to see our borders secure and our country secure". A 4-to-4 tie in the Supreme Court would leave the appeals court's ruling in place. But its path to the highest court in the land is still unclear.
