Kim Jong-Un's half-brother was reportedly assassinated in Kuala Lumpur

Kim Jong-un's half-brother reportedly killed in Malaysia

South Korean media say the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been killed in Malaysia.

The South's MOU, however, is yet to officially confirm the alleged murder of Kim in Kuala Lumpur. This is despite Kim Jong-nam's previous claims that the pair never met.

South Korean politicians are issuing responses to news of the killing, Yonhap reported Tuesday.

Other tweets on the spoof account include: "Valentine Day is bloodthirsty U.S. ritual in which hearts of sacrificed infants are eaten by participants in ghoulish sex and fertility rites".

The case would mark the most high-profile death under the Kim Jong Un regime since the execution of Jang Song Thaek in December 2013, the once-powerful uncle of North Korea's leader. North Korea has sought to draw in Malaysian tourists, and also imports goods including palm oil from the country.

"It all smacks a bit of the James Bond-type method, which North Korea's slightly famous for."

According to a cable television network in Seoul, two North Korea operatives poisoned Kim at a Kuala Lumpur airport.

Jong-nam was estranged from his younger brother, the North Korean dictator.

"Our government is keeping close tabs on the North's movements under the recognition that the incident is 'very significant, '" Hwang said.

I get stopped in the street now and again, but the highlight was the whole Grand Slam that year. Unbeaten England now sit top of the Six Nations table, while Wales move down to third.

The media cited unnamed South Korean officials in their accounts.

The Royal Malaysia Police said in a statement that a North Korean man they identified as Kim Chol - an alias that South Korean officials said had been used by Kim Jong Nam - died en route to a hospital on Monday after seeking medical assistance at the airport.

He has since lived in exile, mostly in the gambling haven of Macau, but he has also been spotted in other Asian countries and there have been reports of his playboy lifestyle.

Selangor state police chief Abdul Samah Mat told Kyodo News Tuesday that the man complained of not feeling well at a service counter at the airport around 9 a.m. Monday, saying that someone "sprayed something" in his face.

Forty-seven-year-old Jong-nam and Jong-un are both sons of former leader Kim Jong-il, who died in late 2011, but they had different mothers.

Mr Kim was born in Pyongyang in 1971 but was educated in Switzerland, prompting his father to later reportedly consider he had turned "into a capitalist".

Kim Jong-nam had previously spoken out about his family's dynasty and fell from the family's good books in 2001 after attempting to visit Tokyo's Disneyland with a forged passport.

"Kim Jong-un may have removed a thorn in his side by assassinating Kim Jong-nam, but it seems that he would not be able to avoid more isolation down the road", said Cheong Seong-chang, a senior researcher at the Sejong Institute.
