President Donald Trump campaign rally in Florida

His festive, flag-draped supporters, who formed a three-mile line outside as they waited to clear security, were poles apart from the staffing turmoil, Congressional foot-dragging, and press hostility Trump faces back in Washington. "Life is a campaign", he told reporters before taking the podium.

Trump: Say a couple of words to this crowd.

But what's especially interesting about this week's rally is that it's apparently not a presidential event. Supporter James Evert, who turned out for the rally, also saw it as a chance for Trump's supporters to give the President a boost.

"I want to speak to you without the filter of the fake news", Trump told the cheering crowd.

She recited the Lord's Prayer before offering her own pledge to act in the best interest of all Americans as she pursues initiatives she said will help women and children around the world. And if it isn't running smoothly it isn't his fault: "I, and we, inherited one big mess-that I can tell you".

Trump's approval ratings are historically low for a new president; one of his Cabinet nominees withdrew despite a new lower threshold for confirmation; and the courts stalled a major early initiative, Trump's temporary ban on travel to the US from seven majority-Muslim nations.

Members of the audience expressed delight in Trump's performance in office.

On Saturday, just one month into his presidency, President Donald Trump held the first rally of his 2020 presidential campaign.

We used our get out of jail cards: Jones
Jones has said he is not bothered either way, although under Six Nations rules, both teams have to agree for it to be closed. One of England's stars was centre Owen Farrell, who added: "In glimpses we showed what we can do".

"When they wrote their decision, as I understand it, they didn't write the statute they were making the decision about", Trump said, quoting a federal statute his administration argued supports the ban.

Gene Huber, 47, a vehicle salesman from West Palm Beach, Florida, had been waiting in line to see Trump since 4 a.m. When President Trump during the election promised all these things that he was going to do for us, I knew he was going to do this for us.

Gene Huber is so devoted to President Donald Trump, he salutes and talks to a cardboard cutout of Trump every day.

A large number of police officers and Secret Service agents gathered at an intersection along Southern Boulevard.

Earlier, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an NBC interview that Trump's attitude toward the press is similar to that of a dictator. After all, it's the business of getting elected Trump appears to enjoy.

"We will continue to expose them for what they are and most importantly we will continue to win, win, win", said the president.

The President has engaged in a bitter attack upon the media, with his unelected chief strategist Steve Bannon declaring that the media were the "opposition".

"Let us move past the differences of party and find a new loyalty rooted deeply in our country", Trump told the crowd.
