LG G6 Fits a Big Screen into a Lovely Compact Body

Furthermore, there's also a 2x optical zoom with electronic image stabilization to keep shakiness to a minimum when filming videos.

LG on Sunday introduced the G6 smartphone with a 5.7-in. display in a new 18:9 aspect ratio that is created to enhance videos and game play. LG's updated custom UI, dubbed UX 6.0, sits on top of Android 7.0 and takes advantage of the 18:9 FullVision display. What's the improvement in actual image quality, you might ask. Both these cameras have a resolution of 13 megapixels. The other sensor is for regular shots, with OIS 2.0 and 71 degree lens. The front camera is a 5 MP wide angle lens with a 100 degree field of view. Being able to separate the display into two flawless squares had me snapping a square photo (perfect for Instagram), while also reviewing existing shots at the same time.

That display is the main focal point of the G6, and it has a rather unorthodox 18:9 screen ratio, which LG says allows that smartphone to better fit in your hand (thin bezels of the smartphone also give the LG G6 an 80 percent screen to body ratio).

The LG G6 may no longer be the flagship phone from LG's Android smartphone line-up, but it is certainly dressed up to mean business. LG G6 sold in South Korea will feature Quad-DAC. The handset is IP68-certified waterproof and, in part, this is thanks to LG ditching the Friends-branded peripherals and the modular design of the previous flagship phone.

The smartphone comes in Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Astro Black colour variants and is loaded with some interesting features.

Crowd rallies in Allentown in support of Affordable Care Act
The Affordable Care Act was advertised to provide affordable health insurance to virtually all Americans but has failed miserably. Missouri's Republicans in Congress say they do not want to return to the pre-Affordable Care Act health care landscape.

The G6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and has Google Assistant built-in which will enable users to get fast answers, manage everyday tasks, enjoy the best music and videos and search the G6 more quickly and efficiently.

Inside the LG G6's metal frame lives a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, NFC, LTE-A 3CA, a 3300mAh battery, Quick Charge 3.0 support, and a USB Type-C port.

Furthermore, the LG G6 is the first smartphone to feature Dolby Vision technology. According to the company, all preinstalled apps work seamlessly with the Google-owned AI digital assistant. The phone can stream and playback HDR content from Amazon Prime and Netflix. As for the game part, users get access to Temple Run 2, Spider-Man Unlimited, Crossy Road, SimCity BuildIt, Cookie Jam and Genies & Gems on Google Play for free. There's a fingerprint scanner on the back, which is used for user authentication.

It's not the only design trick LG has pulled.

Powering all those pixels is a Snapdragon 821 processor (as expected, Samsung snatched up the first batch of 835s) and a 3,300mAh battery, which, for the first time, isn't removable. And, normally you need a very big phone to hold a huge display but LG is calling this a one-handed phone. "LG will continue to lead smartphone innovation with a focus on convenience and reliability in order to exceed consumer expectations".
