Russian flags stamped with 'TRUMP' waved at CPAC and then confiscated

American people still trust the media more than Trump

"I asked people if they wanted a Trump flag and they took it", Charter said. Nobody loves it better than me. And in the midst of barbecuing the media, Trump stepped back to say that he loves the First Amendment.

TRUMP: So when you have practically no notes and no preparation and then you leave and everybody was thrilled, I said, I think I like this business. He opened his speech by making a joke about the media and the standing ovation he received as he came to the podium. And I tell ya, I love good stories, but I don't get too many of them. "They're the enemy of the people". Trump himself has also touted anonymous sources to underscore his conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was born in Kenya.

"We're getting bad people out of this country", Trump said in regards to his immigration policy. The president spent the first 15 minutes of his speech at CPAC this morning criticizing "the fake news media".

In his address to the conservative conference, Trump said "there're no nine people".

He said journalists should be required to stop using anonymous sources. In some cases, these sources are not leaking information but are briefing reporters at the White House's direction, on condition of anonymity.

"And they shouldn't use "sources", he said, adding they should be required to put the names of everyone to whom they speak into their reports.

Earnhardt Jr., Keselowski deadlocked atop Daytona 500 odds
Coupled with the points at stake in each stage, drivers and crew chiefs will face challenging decisions on when to get new rubber. The only tracks where he's had more top-five finishes than Loudon (eight) are Bristol (nine), Daytona (12) and Pocono (13).

Trump also promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, which threatens the "medical system with absolute and total catastrophe". We will not be deterred from this course, and in a matter of days we will be taking brand new action to protect our people and keep America safe.

It was a change in the treatment Trump and his top allies have previously received at the annual conservative gathering.

U.S. President Donald Trump says in spite of his criticism of certain U.S. media organisations, he is not against the fourth estate of the realm. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

CNN reported that this isn't Trump's first time attending CPAC. And in previous years, Stephen Bannon - the onetime chairman of Breitbart News - held events outside of the conference, dubbed the "Uninvited".

Now, CPAC is largely the Trump show - "TPAC", White House counselor Kellyanne Conway called it. Trump and subordinates such as Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon have applied the label of "fake news" to virtually every mainstream news outlet, with the exception of Fox News.
