Sam Warburton upbeat ahead of Wales v Ireland in Six Nations

It was just Wales' second win of the Six Nations as they dealt a potentially fatal blow to Ireland's title hopes, with England able to win the Six Nations if they beat Scotland on Saturday.

In 134 rugby test matches between the two countries - the first of which coming 1871, England have won 74 whilst Scotland have won 42.

George North's two wondrous tries handed Wales a deserved and hard-fought victory over Ireland on Friday evening (10 March). We've shown faith in them as coaches, we feel there's a lot more to come from that group of players, they're deserving of that opportunity and this is their shot at it.

Ireland might have been about to score without Henshaw's arrival, and a conversion would have put them ahead with 10 minutes left. Ireland may look at attacking slightly wider, as they did against France with Sexton looping well and create more innovation in the opposition 22, where Ireland are still guilty of becoming a bit tight and predictable.

"We made some pretty good line breaks; we made some good opportunities".

Sexton started and finished the game but, in between, spent 19 minutes off the pitch because of, first, a head injury assessment an then a sin-binning.

Those giant flames which appeared before kick-off may have helped to evaporate some of the excess moisture but they also ensured the heat was quite literally turned up on Ireland. Jordan Larmour moves off the wing into full back, while Tommy O'Brien, the try-scoring man-of-the-match against the French, moves from the centre onto the right wing. Garry Ringrose's well-weighted grubber forced Halfpenny into a hard situation and he was tackled over the try-line by the onrushing Zebo.

'He's benefited from CJ and Sean being in that back-row.

Faith the key to Barcelona's stunning comeback, says Luis Enrique
Now looking at a 4-0 disadvantage, Barca is going to have its scoring boots on to have a chance. It was topped up with the commentators" reactions, with one word being the highlight - "goal'.

Just three minutes later, Wales were celebrating a clinching third try.

Replacements: Baldwin, Smith, Lee, Charteris, Faletau, G Davies, S Davies, Roberts.

"In November, you get to play at home mostly and I guess as frustrating at it is, I still think there were some really positive things that we did tonight".

Full-back Leigh Halfpenny added a penalty and two conversions, while substitute centre Jamie Roberts touched down two minutes from time as Ireland played nearly a quarter of the match without their fly-half talisman Johnny Sexton, who went off for a head injury assessment and was later sin-binned.

"As soon as you got a bit of speed into the game and you got close it all tended to slow down".

We knew there would be a reaction and against one of the best sides in rugby you have to play like that both with and without the ball. I'm really proud of the players. "The last couple of weeks we have played exciting rugby". We have to give it our best.

"We are not going to lie down and have our bellies tickled. Ireland are always very competitive - very physical and very intense - but it's more about us looking after our performance and game". But when we look back - and the players have spoken about it - it has been individual errors that have let us down in certain moments of matches. "Whereas we have got a reasonable level of consistency now", the hooker said. We never dominated the way we'd like.

"[We had] a few chances in their 22 that we didn't convert".
