O'Reilly's bosses not commenting on reports that he's out

O'Reilly has lost his job at Fo.

Not long after, 21st Century Fox announced on Wednesday that O'Reilly won't be returning to the network. The 67-year-old made a habit of attacking rappers over their perceived advocacy of gun crime and vulgarity, and their propensity to attack Fox News and Republicans.

The news comes after multiple allegations emerged that O'Reilly has sexually harassed and verbally abused female employees.

Pressure had been rising on Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox Inc., the parent of the conservative-leaning news network, to make a decision on O'Reilly's fate as advertisers fled his show.

NEW YORK (AP) - With its biggest star departing in another blowup over sexual harassment, Fox News faces some big challenges.

But it was O'Reilly who created the template for how to succeed in cable TV punditry, delighting his viewers with unapologetic attacks on liberal politicians and media members that he delivered with gusto. Dozens of advertisers ditched "The O'Reilly Factor" after a New York Times report detailed $13 million in payouts to five women over his alleged abusive behavior; more allegations subsequently emerged.

But what matters more than ad sales is how O'Reilly's ousting will potentially impact affiliate fees, or the portion of cable and satellite subscription costs that gets paid to the specific network, DiClemente said.

Those are two of the outstanding questions now that Fox News has canceled "The O'Reilly Factor".

That certainly could happen, though it probably won't be easy.

Families who buy tickets get a handy map and you'll do enough walking along its serene trails to earn your rewards. In Greg McDougall's opinion, the injuries and fights break out when eggs have prizes inside.

O'Reilly had worked for Fox News since its 1996 launch, and the end of his career there came the same day the official Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, photographed him shaking hands with Pope Francis in St. Peter's Square.

"This is what happens when women speak our truth - we can slay dragons", said attorney Lisa Bloom, who represents three of the women who accused O'Reilly, insisting Fox should have fired him years ago.

Meanwhile, O'Reilly's departure will dramatically alter the Fox nightly lineup. One of his most indelible TV moments is the famous "You Mad" interview he had with rapper Cam'ron and hip hop mogul Dame Dash on his program The O'Reilly Factor in late 2003.

Noah also ran through a highlight reel of O'Reilly's "best" moments, including a story the former Fox News host told of eating dinner in Harlem with Al Sharpton that was "like going into an Italian restaurant in an all white suburb".

According to Kurtz, beginning this Monday, Tucker Carlson's show will move from 9 p.m.

O'Reilly's departure means promotions for several shows.

O'Reilly said he would look back on his time at Fox "with great pride in the unprecedented success" achieved and with "deepest gratitude" to his "dedicated viewers".

His show generated $178 million in advertising revenue in 2015, according to Kantar Media.

"I'm not sure I see much evidence of that; otherwise, Judy Woodruff would be off the charts", he said, referring to the anchor of "PBS NewsHour".

O'Reilly is also one of the country's most popular nonfiction authors.
