Donald Trump dismisses Russian Federation collusion claims as a total hoax

Donald Trump dismisses Russian Federation collusion claims as a total hoax

According to intelligence officials, the two discussed sanctions imposed by President Barack Obama to punish Russian Federation for its efforts to interfere with the 2016 presidential election. He said Flynn's security clearance had been renewed in April 2016, and the Obama White House had not stepped in to revoke it. That's because the White House wanted to make sure "we were doing the right thing".

The Jan. 26 conversation took place two days after the Federal Bureau of Investigation interviewed Flynn about those contacts.

Yates answer was that you don't want your National Security Adviser compromised by the Russians.

He backed Mr Macron after Mr Trump appeared to side with nationalist candidate Marine Le Pen, calling her the strongest candidate on terrorism and borders. He retired when Trump took office.

Why did it then take 18 days for Flynn to be fired - a step that only took place when The Washington Post reported he had lied to Vice President Mike Pence about his calls with Russia's envoy to Washington?

Trump ultimately tapped Flynn as national security adviser, but fired him after less than a month.

In the almost three weeks that passed between finding out Flynn misled the Vice President Mike Pence about his contacts with Russia's ambassador to the US and Flynn's resignation, Spicer said, there were no known restrictions to his access to information.

Meanwhile, the U.S. administration fiercely denied Trump's contested travel ban deliberately single out Muslims during an appeals court hearing Monday - despite the president's campaign call for a blanket Muslim ban.

Flynn had been pushed out by Obama in 2014 from his job as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, or DIA.

New Leader Of Le Pen's Party Accused Of Gas Chamber Denial
Many had feared another anti-establishment shock to follow Britain's "Brexit" vote and Donald Trump's election as USA president. Angela Merkel (July 28, 2016) and French presidential candidate for the " En Marche " movement Emmanuel Macron, March 4, 2017.

Commenting on this conversation on Fox news, President Donald Trump blamed the Obama administration for not vetting Flynn.

Yates, who was sacked by President Trump on January 30, said that it is believed that the Russian government had recordings of Flynn's call. She said she was not.

The president also called ongoing FBI, House and Senate probes of Russia's election meddling and possible ties to his campaign associates a collective "taxpayer funded charade".

Just days after the inauguration, moreover, Yates used those same NSA transcripts to try to get Flynn fired, by warning the White House that he was "vulnerable" to Russian extortion.

The warning was "based on Flynn's role as head of DIA", a former administration official told the AFP.

Meanwhile, two other intelligence sources told NBC on Monday that General Flynn failed to disclose he had been paid a $34,000 fee to travel to Russia in December 2015 for an event organized by Russia Today.

Donald Trump has hit back angrily over new claims about his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who resigned amid controversy over his links with Russian Federation.

Yates briefly led the U.S. Justice Department until Trump fired her on January 30 for declining to defend his travel ban on seven Muslim-majority countries.

Yates made the claim while testifying before a congressional panel. All the committees are led by Republicans.
