Apple's Siri-powered smart speaker will reportedly debut next month

Here's What To Look For At Apple's WWDC Week

Shares of Apple closed lower on Wednesday.

Bloomberg's recent report said the device will have an engraving that will say: "Designed by Apple in California".

The iPhone-maker has started manufacturing a long-in-the-works Siri-controlled smart speaker, according to people familiar with the matter.

We're learning a bit more about Apple's alleged Siri speaker as the rumor mill heats up before the company's annual developer conference.

Introducing a speaker would serve two main purposes: providing a hub to automate appliances and lights via Apple's HomeKit system, and establishing a bulwark inside the home to lock customers more tightly into Apple's network of services.

As with the Echo and Google Home, Apple's device will also help users control their smart home. He expects service revenue to double by 2020 from last year's $24 billion.

Wenger will give away his cup medal again
The German said he has tried to learn from that mistake, and is prepared for the physical aspect of playing against Costa. Not even the club's most successful manager in Jose Mourinho managed that across his two separate spells in west London .

Of course, one of the primary focuses will be to push Apple's subscription music service.

The firm will also likely offer developers the opportunity to implement third-party "skills" with the device, as its competitors already do. Apple employees have been secretly testing the device in their homes for several months, they said.

Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Apple is also expected to announce a refresh MacBook lineup, and potentially a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro model. That includes virtual surround sound, in addition to speakers that are both louder and that "reproduce sound more crisply" than what's already on the market. Apple will also embrace third-party services through the Siri-controlled speaker, as is did within iOS 10 previous year. The company has apparently considered building in technology that would be able to acoustically map the space around it, and then adjust its EQ settings accordingly. That's reportedly about to change, and factories are starting to crank out Apple's take on the hot products.
