Explosions, gunfire reported at Resorts World Manila in Philippines

It's close by the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Terminal 3, according to The Sun.

He said the man then fired again at a stock room containing gambling chips and filled a backpack with them.

Gunfire and explosions have been heard outside the Resorts World hotel in Manila.

Police said one gunman fired at an LED screen at the resort and lit a table on fire but did not shoot anyone.

Dela Rosa, in battle fatigues and clutching a firearm, described the shooter as a "6-footer na parang foreign-looking, puti na medyo may bigote (a 6-footer who is foreign-looking, white with a moustache)".

The Manila TV network ABS-CBN tweeted that, "Eyewitnesses tell police that gunmen at the ongoing Resorts World Manila incident are wearing masks and black shirts". Smoke was seen from the building as well.

There are early reports of multiple gunmen, however, witnesses told CNN the shooter had covered his face. The shooter reportedly did not aim at any person during his attack.

Apparently Half Of Donald Trump's Twitter Followers Are Fake
According to Twitter , it's fairly normal for new users to not upload photos before beginning to use the service. At the time of writing, Trump's Twitter following had increased by five million followers over just a few days.

"We took out a ladder to save them".

Earlier in the day, the SITE Intelligence Group had reported that a "Filipino ISIS operative" said the militant group's "lone wolf soldiers" were responsible for the attack - though that report appears to have been contradicted by Philippine authorities.

Resorts World Manila, which opened in 2009 and is located in Pasay City, said it was on lockdown following reports of gunfire and explosions, the company said on its Twitter page.

Philippine police say the suspect in the attack on a hotel and casino complex near Manila's airport has been found dead of apparent suicide.

Gen. Ronald Dela Rosa said one gunman is believed to be behind the attack early Friday and is still at large. Police were conducting a search and had evacuated all guests.

Dela Rosa said he could not say if it was terrorist attack, but emphasised the gunman did not shoot anyone and there had been no reports of hostages being taken. The group later claimed responsibility. "We were able to save many of them", he said.

The police chief confirmed his original statement to the AP that there is "no concrete evidence that the attack was terrorism" - despite President Trump's opening remarks while announcing the US withdrawal from the Paris accord on climate change.
