Arab Countries Issue List Of Qatar-Linked 'Terrorists' Rejected By Doha

Its emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held talks on Wednesday with Qatari counterpart Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, following talks with senior UAE officials and Saudi King Salman.

"If anyone thinks they are going to impose anything on my internal affairs or my internal issues, this is not going to happen", Sheikh Mohammed said.

The countries cited Qatar's relations with Iran and what they say is Qatar's support for extremist groups like al Qaeda and Hamas, as well as the Muslim Brotherhood.

"It was started based on fabricated news, being wedged and being inserted in our national news agency, which was hacked and proved by the Federal Bureau of Investigation", he added.

The list, however, contains at least two names already designated internationally as terrorist financiers, and against whom Qatar took action, according to a previous US Department of State report.
