Comedian Hannibal Buress arrested for disorderly intoxication

Buress was arrested Sunday morning in Miami

Stand-up comedian and actor Hannibal Buress was arrested last night, and there's a video going around social media documenting his heated exchange with the arresting officers. In the video a handcuffed Buress can be seen standing against a police auto. At the start of the two-and-a-half minute clip, the comedian can be heard shouting, "Am I under arrest?"

"Why do the officers in the video say he's "trespassing?' Everyone in Wynwood is disorderly and intoxicated". "Explain what I'm detained for".

"What am I detained for?" Per the above bystander-recorded video footage, Buress demands to know what probable cause the police have to arrest him. The video begins after Buress was already cuffed. The hashtag #FreeHannibalBuress later trended on Twitter.

He was released on bond early Sunday.

Bears lose grip as value-buying lifts Sensex 352 points
The index had rallied 352.03 points in the previous session on value-buying by investors in recently-battered blue-chip stocks. The broader NSE Nifty too slipped by 9.50 points, or 0.09%, to end at 10,118.25, after moving between 10,069.10 and 10,147.95.

In a report from TMZ, the comedian allegedly approached the police and asked for an Uber. When the officer declined, Buress went into a venue and the officer followed him, feeling he was too intoxicated to remain.

He's a rising star in the comedy world, and appeared this year in the summer blockbusters "Baywatch" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

He gained prominence in 2014 for his routine on Bill Cosby's sexual assault accusations, which put those allegations into the national spotlight.

In response to a tweeted inquiry from documentary film director Billy Corben, the Miami PD acknowledged that Buress was arrested at around 10:30 pm EST.
