Sixers GM: Markelle Fultz (shoulder) limited to shooting in paint

Thus far, number one overall pick Markelle Fultz's career has been a rollercoaster ride.

The Philadelphia 76ers guard, who was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, hasn't played in a game since October 23 because of lingering shoulder issues.

Philadelphia 76ers general manager and president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo offered a wide spectrum on the rookie's return, and didn't specify whether Fultz will be back in the near future, or out for the remainder of the year.

Markelle tried to play through the injury, and it showed in his shooting percentages, as Fultz only managed to shoot 33% from the field while taking nearly seven shots a game, and this was after shooting 41% from deep his lone year at Washington.

7 may be trapped in quake-hit Taiwan building
A hotel in Hualien has collapsed following the natural disaster , Reuters reported , citing the Taiwanese government. Rescuers said five other mainland tourists are still trapped in the building, four adults and one child.

Colangelo says the team will play Fultz when he's ready, but don't have a timeline right now. "Everything within a certain range, it's attractive", said Colangelo. "Everything within a certain range, it's handsome", said Colangelo. Paint shots, perimeter shots are kind of where you draw a line.

That's definitely not good news after nearly five months of rehab, especially for a number one pick. He has only played four games due to an ongoing right shoulder injury, as he may have changed his shooting mechanics in a chicken-or-the-egg scenario involving the injury, and into the new year there was no timetable for his return.

When the Philadelphia 76ers moved up to take Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 pick in the 2017 Draft, it seemed as though their self-proclaimed period of "trusting the process" was finally complete.

The rookie guard, now out indefinitely with a shoulder injury, could be back soon.
