Moto G7, G7 Plus, G7 Power and G7 Play Launched: Price, Specifications

Nowhere has this been truer than with Motorola's Moto G family. There are three models initially-Moto G7, Moto G7 Power, and Moto G7 Play-with the middle phone (G7 Power) wielding a capacious 5,000 mAh battery pack. The moto g7 play will be available from mid- February throughout Europe. Here are our first impressions of the bottom of the Moto G pack - the £150 Moto G7 Play.

The Moto G7 Power will cost €210 in Europe, $250 in North America.

That Motorola managed to squeeze such a big battery into a body that really doesn't feel that big is a feat worth admiring, even if it made me wish the company had done the same for the G7.

Some of the key features include the ability to take screenshots with a three-finger press on the screen, Quick Capture for the camera (by twisting the device in your hand) and Fast Flashlight for activating the flashlight by making a chopping motion with the phone. These four affordable phones include numerous core Motorola features we've come to love, like an ambient display and easy-to-master hand gestures.

The G7 Play does have a big notch on the top and the bezels aren't as thin as you might see on more expensive phones, but who cares? Though with the same display on both devices, it looks like this processor's mostly going to be in play to handle the cameras.

After several leaks, the Moto G7 series was finally launched in Brazil.

The standard Moto G7 features a 6.24-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. If you're planning on shooting videos of friends and family in the swimming pool or sea, this probably isn't the smartphone for you. The Moto G7 and G7 Plus will be available to purchase in Ceramic Black and Clear White colors.

When it comes to specs, the highlight feature of the Moto G7 Power is its battery.

To squeeze that amount of screen real estate into a device that remains comfortable to use one-handed, Motorola has opted for a notch at the top of the display to house the front-facing 8MP camera, speaker grill, and various sensors.

Other features of the Moto G7 include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Global Positioning System and a USB Type C port. The setup offers support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It has a 12-megapixel single camera with an f/2.0 lens on the rear as well as an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.2 lens. The G7 Plus is available outside of the USA for 300 euros, or roughly $340. The G7 Power, as you might expect, is fitted with the largest battery here at a whopping 5,000mAh rated for 60 hours of uptime.

Its powered by the same Snapdragon 632 chipset, though with only 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage (the microSD slot is still on board for up to 512GB more).

One of the major selling points with the Moto G7 is battery life. There's only a 5W charger, however, so you don't get the same fast charging that you do from the other models out of the box. This device is only slightly different from its closest brethren.

The hardware goes hand-in-hand with the software and here you're getting the same clean Android experience that Moto has been offering for years. It runs stock Android 9.0 Pie.

All in all, these two phones are basically impossible to tell the difference between when it comes to the design - they also feature the same-sized display, the same footprint, and even the same camera setup. For pricing, the Moto G7 Plus will have a $300 Euro price tag.
